EduLang is a multilingual library application designed to address language barriers through the power of storytelling. Its curated library offers learners culturally sensitive, relatable, and developmentally appropriate content tailored to various learning levels. The platform employs interactive bilingual books to support students in grades K-5 from non-English speaking backgrounds, with a focus on facilitating English language acquisition.

The app specifically targets speakers of low-resource languages—those that are underrepresented in digital media, government communications, and translation systems. Despite over four billion people worldwide speaking such languages, digital content and translations remain scarce, hindering language development opportunities for these communities.

Research indicates that leveraging an individual's native language can significantly enhance the process of learning a second language, including English. However, for speakers of marginalized languages and dialects, access to bilingual resources is often limited. EduLang addresses this gap by enabling ESL students to read, translate, and develop bilingual books in their native language alongside English, fostering both language preservation and proficiency.
